What Is The Y.A.L.?
Young Adult League (Y.A.L.) is an
Archdiocesan network of young Orthodox Christians for the development of an
Orthodox Christian Identity, and who are seeking
friendships and spiritual growth. The Y.A.L.
is open to all those who are between the ages of 18 and 35.
Y.A.L. activities center
on experiencing a model of four interrelated circles which symbolize the
Y.A.L. movement.
Namely, Worship (Liturgia), Witness (Martyria), Service (Diakonia) and Fellowship
(Koinonia), with Jesus Christ as source and center.
Please feel free to come out to any of our events or to contact us with
any
questions…we'd love to hear from you!
Diocesan and Archdiocesan conferences are held annually.
Locally,
the Young Adult League (Y.A.L.) promotes Parish involvement and provides opportunities for
members to
grow stronger in their Orthodox faith.
How can I join
There is no membership fee, but we do encourage becoming stewards of the
Church.
