Fr. Nicolaos H. Kotsis was born on May 24, 1974 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.  Both of his parents, Dr. Harry and Katherine Kotsis, were born in Detroit, Michigan.  Fr. Nick is the firstborn of four brothers.  He graduated in 1996 from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in History and from Holy Cross in 2000 with a Masters of Divinity.

​He worked as Metropolitan Nicholas’ Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries from 2000-2003 and as the Metropolitan’s Assistant from 2003-2004.  In 2001, he married Alexandra Spilson.  They have three children, Harry, Vasiliki, and George.

​Presvytera Sandra works part time at the University of Michigan as a researcher in the Plastic Surgery section of the Department of Surgery at the University of Michigan Hospital.  He was ordained to the Deaconate on November 13, 2004 and to the Priesthood on December 5, 2004 by His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas.  Fr. Nick was assigned to the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Ann Arbor, Michigan on January 1, 2005 where he currently serves.  Fr. Nick was given the Offikia of Economos on December 9, 2009.
