Vacation Church School for summer 2024 will take place
Monday, July 8th to Friday July 12th from 8:30am to 1pm!

This year’s theme will be focused on iconography and the consecration of our church. Children attending will have the opportunity to learn about many of the beautiful icons they see when they are in our church as well as the meaning of the consecration of our church. This is a special time for our church community, since we have our upcoming consecration on August 17th, 2024. Along with our learning, children will be making crafts, singing hymns, participating in a service project, and enjoying indoor and outdoor games and fellowship activities. We will provide T-shirts for campers and volunteers. Ages for participation are those entering Kindergarten to having finished sixth grade in 2024. Please register using the link below by June 30th to reserve your spot! St. Nicholas VCS is FREE OF CHARGE! All are welcome!

We love having volunteers help! Parishioners and children from our GOYA youth group are encouraged to get involved and help with VCS. Please use the registration link below if you are interested in volunteering.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
VCS will take place both indoors and outdoors. Your camper will need to bring a packed lunch. Please also bring a clearly labeled water bottle. The church will also have light snacks and water available, if needed. Small breakfast items will also be available from 8:30am-9:00am. Both campers and volunteers must be registered ahead of time to appropriately plan!

Campers will learn about icons and the consecration of our church. The week will include participating in church services, attending educational sessions provided by our parish priest, playing indoor and outdoor games, making crafts, participating in a service project, and experiencing fun and fellowship with each other!

For questions, please contact the church office (734-332-8200), M-F 9:00am-3:00pm or email Cleo Mihalopoulos at [email protected].
