The Office of Holy Oblation or Preparation for Liturgy - this short service prepares the bread and wine used for Holy Communion.  We believe that this bread and wine will be transformed (invisibly) into the very Body and Blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ during the service of the Divine Liturgy.  Fr. Nick explains the symbolism behind this service.
